How the AutoBlanket® works...
The AutoBlanket® is a hydraulically
driven implement, designed for a
medium to large landscape grading
tractor or skid steer loader. The
hydraulics from the tractor or skid
loader powers a 25 CFM air
compressor that pneumatically
powers the three or five 6" staple
guns mounted on the rear of the
AutoBlanket® .
The Graphic Operator Terminal,
located in the cab, enables the operator to choose
from various staple patterns, control lift/float
of machine, monitor traveling speed and psi.
The 3-point hitch attachment lets the AutoBlanket® articulate up and down. This allows the tractor/loader and the AutoBlanket® to flow over the ground independently of each other when encountering berms and sloped corners on man made detention/retention ponds.
The 3 or 5 compression wheel assemblies, which hold the stapling mechanisms, independently float 18” up or down depending on the terrain. This enables the AutoBlanket® to install erosion control blanket in many different types of landscape situations.
